Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an account on FirsaTrade?

Creating an account is easy! Download the FirsaTrade app from the App Store or Google Play, click "Sign Up," and follow the prompts to create your profile. You'll need to provide a valid email address and create a secure password.

Is FirsaTrade available nationwide in the USA?

Yes! FirsaTrade is available throughout the United States. However, since the platform facilitates in-person exchanges, the availability of items for trade will depend on your local area. Larger cities typically have more active users and available items.

How does the exchange process work?

After finding an item you're interested in, you can propose a trade by offering one or more of your listed items. If the other user accepts your offer, you'll arrange a meeting place and time through our secure messaging system. After the exchange, both parties rate the experience to build trust in the community.

Are there any fees to use FirsaTrade?

Basic exchanges are completely free! We do offer premium features through our FirsaTrade Plus subscription, which includes priority listing, advanced search filters, and the ability to see who has viewed your items.

What items are prohibited on FirsaTrade?

Prohibited items include but are not limited to: illegal goods, weapons, prescription medications, counterfeit items, recalled products, and adult content. Please review our Terms of Service for a complete list of prohibited items.

How can I ensure safe exchanges?

We recommend meeting in public places like coffee shops or mall food courts, bringing a friend when possible, and using our in-app safety features. Many police stations also offer "safe exchange zones" specifically for online marketplace transactions. Check out our blog for more detailed safety tips.

This Day in History

On this day in 1991, the World Wide Web became publicly available. Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist, invented the WWW in 1989 while working at CERN. This innovation would forever change how people exchange information and goods, eventually leading to platforms like FirsaTrade.
